This set of songs was originally released on vinyl only in July of 2014. It features some demos for our albums NOMADS and ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN MAJESTY. 105 copies were pressed and each record had the titles hand written by the band members (we each took 35). This is the first time it has been available in a digital form. We hope you enjoy it.

The first six songs were recorded in our jamroom (Vault) and at HeavyHead recording company between 2011 and 2014. The remainder of this set is four songs from the “Waterman Sessions”. We rented a 100 year old grange hall called the Waterman Grange. We set up a 16 track 1” tape machine and attempted to lay down bed tracks for four songs over a two day period. We found that the massive echo of the hall was keeping us from locking in and getting a feeling together. We set up like we were on stage and cranked our amps up as loud as we needed to get the response from them that we were used to but the barriers that were set up between us to help reduce audio bleed into each other’s microphones were keeping us from hearing the sound directly off the other players instruments. We were hearing the slapback of the room. That made it extemely difficult to lock in with each other and you can hear it on the recording. We recorded four songs there. Breaker, Spectres, Early Mourning, and Beyond The Whip. On the first day we also kept the tape rolling while we recorded the jam that is presented on this record. Despite all of the weirdness that went on
during this session we did manage to salvage “Spectres” for inclusion on “Electric Mountain Majesty”. “Beyond the Whip” from Waterman was barely listenable and will never be heard (ha!)
