EARLY MOURNING**
Listen to that Risson amp!!!!! It sounds like it’s going to explode. I really wish this take would have worked just for the guitar sound alone but as you can hear we couldn’t really find the right groove even in this take that we thought might be a keeper. It was good that we waited because we smoothed out the odd little time changes before we recorded the version that ended up on the record. This is another song that is really fun to play live.

WATERMAN JAM
At the end of the take of “Early Mourning” (take 4 and the first song we attempted for these sessions) that is presented on this album, Shawn took it upon himself to start a jam. Shawn and Scooter lock in nicely on this jam but I am having a hard time finding my place. I’ll blame it on the room again :).
