“I wrote this song for another project I was doing but never got around to completing it. My original demo only had guitar and vocals but had the elements of what I thought could be a new and interesting approach to the Mos Generator sound. I had Shawn and Scooter come in to record drums and bass onto my original demo tracks and after listening to it for a while I thought that cellos might be an interesting substitute for the guitars. I contacted my old friend Spencer Hoveskeland to record the cellos for me. He is one of only two people to guest on a MG record.”
